Next Possible Exits.

             Summer transfer window of the season of 2011/2012 is another two months away. There are few listed players who may quit the Merseyside club. Manager Kenny Dalglish must prepare to face some important exits in order to sign some new faces. Here are some possible names who were heading out of Anfield.


        1) Pepe Reina  - Consider as one of the best goalkeeper in the world, Reina has been an undisputed first  
                                  choice goalkeeper in Liverpool since 2005. He dropped a bombshell by claiming he
                                  may leave Liverpool if they dont qualify for the UEFA Champions league. Arsenal and
                                  Manchester are chasing the after the Sparniad for 20million.

       2) Alberto Aquilany - Aquilany signed from AS Roma last season as a replacement for the departed
                                        Xabi Alonso. The 20 million man fails to prove his worth and spent most season on
                                        injuries. This season, he being in starting lineup of Juventus and join the Italian
                                        giants on permanent deal.

      3) Christian Poulsen - Sign by Roy Hodgson to play in defensive midfield. He fails to  be value buy and
                                        flops in every game he plays. He has not scored since he joined the club.

      4) Joe Cole - Hodgson first signing, came with reputation after winning the League and FA Cup with
                          Chelsea. Suspension and injuries damaged his reputation. His recent games does not show
                           any improvement.

      5) Milan Jovanic - Rafa Benitez last signing before sacked. He scored just 2 goals and fail to establish
                                   himself as a striker and has been surplus selection.

    6) Emiliano Insua - currently on loan at Fiorentina he does seems to be in Kenny Dalglish plans.

Poor showing at Upton Park

           Liverpools eight match unbeaten came to an end after whipping defeat at relegation candidate West Ham United. The Hammers put a sizzling show againts the reds side to ensure they stay at the Premier League. Liverpools injury woes continue when defender Martin Kelly had to be subtituted alongside Raul Meireless. Liverpools midfield is tame and toothless.

              Liverpools midfield likes of Joe Cole, Lucas, Steven Gerrad fail to capitalise Hammers defences. Despite the return of Gerrard from injury, the reds fails to produce attacking options to strikers Dirk Kuyt and Luis Suarez. Gerrard had the best chance when he fired a left foot shot athe West Ham goal but shook the goal post. Suarez managed a shot when he collected a pass and shot pass Robert Green but was denied.

          Kelly will not be strartning againts Manchester United meanwhile Meireless is doubtful againts United. Record signing Andy Carroll may make Liverpool Debut. After the victory againts Chelsea the reds were struggling for past four matches.

        Liverpool were drawn at home to Wigan Athletic, drawn at Sparta Praha at away, managed one goal againts Sparta at home and latest defeat to West Ham. West Ham too the lead when Scott Parker completed two passes and fire shot past Pepe Reina. The Hammers extended the lead when Gary O' Neile cross what completed by Demba Ba just before the half time. Liverpool continued their attack on the second half, on the 84th minute Suarez sharply turn and pass to Glen Johnson to score a close ranged goal in order to keep their game on. On 90th minute subtitude Charton Cole fire third goal when he musscled off Martin Skrtel and seal the winner.

Kennys first European victory

       Liverpool experinced his first European victory in Anfield when the Reds defeated Sparta Praha 1-0. Dirk Kuyts 85th minute header was enough to ensure Liverpool proceed to next round. Liverpool were without skipper Steven Gerrard who watch at the stands.                                                                                  



Liverpool-sparta-prague-europa-league cropped Record signing Andy Carroll was present during the match alongside England manager Fabio Capello. Pepe Reina captained the reds side with Jamie Carrager in the bench. striker David Ngog does not had a good night at Anfield. He misses several good chances including the first half when he collected a close range pass from Kuyt and shot at Sparta goalkeeper.

    Defender Jamie Carrager who captain the side on second half made his 137th European appearances eclipsing Manchester Uniteds Ryan Giggs on British record. Midfielder Joe Cole made few shots but he was unable to score the opener. Liverpool should have a penalty when Raul Meireless freekick bounced and hit Manuel Pamic on the hand but nothing has been given.

       Defender Daniel Agger limped to injury and he was forced to take off. Sotirius Kygiakos header was blocked  by the Sparta keeper. Raul Meireless had a best chance to score when he collected a cross from Martin Kelly but the shot when high. Kuyt who in talk on new contract scored on 85th minute when he headed Raul Meireless corner kick to give the victory for the reds.

King Kenny's home debut

     Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish will have his first European debut at Anfield tomorrow. Dalglish expected to field a strong lineup againts Sparta Prague. Liverpool will be without skipper Steven Gerrard due to groin injury and he does not want to risk record signing Andy Carroll.

            Daniel Agger is expected to return at the second leg clash. Dalglish insist that Martin Kelly and Martin Skrtel will start againts the Czech Republic side. Midfielder Jay Spearing too has recovered from injury. Defender Fabio Aurelio struggling on groin injury and Luis Suarez is still uneligiblemartin-skrtel-liverpool-cropped

       Fans will be expecting a thrilling match at Anfield. Dalglish side has been unbeaten for six matches and the reds are expecting to counter attack againts the Czech side. Liverpool will have to depend on Raul Meireless to bolster their attack. Glen Johnson, Martin Kelly, Martin Skrtel and Jamie Carrager expected to start at the defences with Pepe Reina on goal.

       Lucas, Maxi Rodriguez, Joe Cole and Raul Meireless will start at midfield. Dirk Kuyt may partner David Ngog on front. Steven Gerrard will sit on bench.
